Jasmine Kim is a professional violinist, educator, and music entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience performing and teaching. Originally from Southern California and now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she performs for weddings, corporate events, recordings, and special occasions throughout California and beyond.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. Classically trained, she studied with renowned pedagogue Linda Rose and Elizabeth Baker, former First Violinist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and has also received coaching from LA Philharmonic First Violinist Stacy Wetzel.
A versatile musician, Jasmine performs across classical, pop, rock, soul, reggae, world, sacred, and contemporary styles. Her performance credits include collaborations with artists such as Kris Bowers, Sarah Chang, Charles Yang of Time for Three, and Tessa Lark, as well as performances with Earth, Wind & Fire, Paris by Night, and the American Youth Symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall. She is also a founding member of Sorelle Strings, a luxury violin, cello, and harp ensemble.
As an educator, Jasmine brings over a decade of teaching and coaching experience to students of all ages and levels. She is passionate about helping musicians develop strong technique, confidence, musicality, and a lifelong love of music.
