Miss Zhou is an outstanding cellist who studied at the Central Conservatory of Beijing at age 11. At age 16, she won the First Prize in First National Cello competition in China. She has collaborated with the New World Symphony, Portland Symphony, the Springfield Symphony, Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in Taiwan. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Cleveland institute of Music and Performing Certificate from University of Southern California, and Master’s Degree in performing Arts from Boston University. She was the First Prize Winner at American Federation of Musicians in Brentwood-Westwood, California Competition, A soloist with the Brentwood Symphony Orchestra. She was a Winner at American VOCE Music Festival Competition in 1992, and First Prize winner at American Music Club Competition in 1993 in Atlanta, GA. She served as one of the final Cello Jury in 2018 US International Music Competition took place in Stanford University.
