Teacher Kashmira began studying the violin at the age of four and was an active member of the Hawaii Youth Symphony throughout her childhood. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Colorado–Boulder, where she studied under Charles Wetherbee. During her time at CU, she also participated in a summer music and performing arts program in Florence, Italy, studying with renowned violinist Alberto Bologni—co-founder of the Florentia Consort Associazione Culturale.
She continued her studies with Katherine McLin at Arizona State University, where she obtained a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Pedagogy.
Teacher Kashmira has extensive experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, from young beginners to advanced players. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes collaboration between teacher and student, with lessons tailored to each individual’s ability, learning style, and interests. She integrates music theory, history, and ear training into her instruction to provide a well-rounded musical education. Known for her patience and encouragement, Teacher Kashmira is passionate about sharing her love of music and helping students grow both technically and expressively.
